In 2013, while earning his degree in journalism at Suffolk University, Cajigas regularly contributed to The Boston Globe as a Globe Correspondent. Cajigas also served as the Editor-in-Chief of The Suffolk Voice.
In 2019, Cajigas received a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Antioch University. He then relocated from Los Angeles to New York, where he writes alongside his cat, Lou.
